COURSE BOOKING TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. Bookings

All bookings must be made online at http://burysapas.yapsody.com and either paid in full by credit/debit card using Stripe as a payment handler.

2. Cancellations

By participant:

If a cancellation is received four weeks prior to the start of the course/activity/event then 100% of the course fee will be refunded, if cancelled between fourteen and twenty eight days prior to course/activity/event, 50% will be retained. If however a cancellation is made within fourteen days prior to course/activity 100% of the fee will be retained. Bookings may be transferrable in exceptional circumstances.

By Bury Sports and Physical Activity Service:

Every attempt will be made to ensure that advertised courses/activities actually run. However, Bury Council, Sports and Physical Activity Service reserves the right to cancel any course should the minimum number of participants not be fulfilled. Every effort will be made to contact candidates/participants notifying them of any cancellations one week prior to the course. Bury Council, Sports and Physical Activity Service reserves the right to amend courses/activities to ensure the effective running of all courses/activities and the safety of all participants. Every effort will be made to contact candidates notifying them of any alterations one week prior to the course.

3. INSURANCE

Bury Council has mandatory insurance cover relating to third parties. Bury Council , Sports and Physical Activity Service ensure workplace/activity risk assessments for courses, nevertheless participants must accept the inherent risks in sporting activities. Bury Council, Sports and Physical Activity Service do not accept liability for any personal belongings.

4. GENERAL

Each participant must be willing to comply with all safety regulations. The course/activity administrator will provide all specialist equipment. Participants will need to be dressed in suitable clothing/footwear in relation to the course/activity. Age restrictions apply to most courses/activities. Participants behaving in a manner that disrupts the course/activity will be disqualified immediately and no refund will be given under these circumstances. The course/activity tutors decision is final. Participants are required to provide their own refreshments and are advised to bring their own meals if a course runs for a full day. It is the participants responsibility to
provide their own writing and note taking materials (if applicable). For water based courses/activities you should be confident in water. All participants will be required to turn off their mobile phones for the duration of the course.

5. ATTENDANCE ON EDUCATION COURSES

All courses must be completed in full. Failure to complete all course hours may result in the participant not being put forward for final assessment. The course tutors decision is final.

6. PAYMENT PROCESS

Payments will be processed by the online booking agent Yapsody; If a participant is on the reserve list payment will only be processed when the booking is confirmed.

7. EDUCATION WORKSHOPS

Bury Sports and Physical Activity Service will be responsible for the allocation of a tutor who has been fully accredited to deliver the workshop title. Bury Sports and Physical Activity Service will be responsible for the allocation of a venue which is suitable to host the workshop title.
